Why we use them

Land Rover's are used all over the world. Their mechanical simplicity as well as parts availability means that the possibility of gaining replacement parts and have help from a local mechanic wherever we happen to be is greater. We are going to use these cars as our base camps in different parts of the world. Therefore, modification for storage, sleeping and living necessities must also be a factor in considering the choice of vehicle. From researching other expeditions and long adventures we have seen that many modifications done to Land Rover's are not that difficult to do yourself in a home garage.

Land Rover's have always had a certain character about them, they have that adventure look and feel.
