We are two families that like to travel. Our overland adventure started in the middle of Februari 2008 when we left from Stockholm in Sweden with Australia as the end destination.At that time our children where 1,5 and 3 years old. Four of them all together. During the journey nothing has turned out as planned or expexted and most of the time our expectations are exceeded. As example, we ended up staying three months in Iran instead of tree weeks (amazing people-Iranians =)). While in Iran we changed or route to Africa. We now have South Africa as a final destination. Or? =)

As we always has said " the route might change when we are on the trip depending on local situations" Friendliness is a local sitiuation (and a global). We have, so far, had a really nice time and are still enjoyng the freedom of travelling. Follow us on our blog.

The Adventurefamily site is where we summarize our experiences and plans and hopefully give some inspiration for others to fullfill their dreams.

Tuvalie, Oliver, Richard and Lina

Tuvalie

Tuvalie was born the 1st of October 2004. She knows what she wants and tries anything. Despite her age she speaks both English and Swedish.

 

 

 

 

 

Oliver

Oliver was born the 8th of May 2006. Always happy =)

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lina

Lina works as a graphic designer. She has designed this home page as well as the stickers on our cars. Lina will also be responsible for the medical preparation for our trips.

Main interests are skiing, good food, travelling and yoga.

 

 

 

 

Richard

Richard works as a greenkeeper. Since we decided on the expedition he has learnt a lot about restoration of Land Rovers. He is responsible for the communications on our trips.

Main intrests are climbing, travelling and off roading.

 

 

 

Luka, Tanja, Pia and Milan

Luka

Luka (also known as Lukas) was born the 1st of December 2004. Luka is a very social little guy who loves having everybodys attention. Being very talkative, he knows a lot of words in both Swedish, English and Serbocroatian.

 

 

 

 

 

Tanja

Tanja Anastasia was born the 23rd of July 2006 and is the youngest member.

 

 

 

 

 

Milan

Milan has a PhD in Ultrasonics KTH but used to work as a car mechanic. Hence Milan will be responsible for the vehicles mechanics on our trips.

Main intrests are skiing, travelling and quality time with the family.

 

 

 

Pia

Pia has a Techn. Lic. degree in vehicle dynamics. Pia will be the navigator on our trips showing us the way.

Main intrests are snowboarding, travelling and Capoeira.
